INT. YOUR PC — DAY
Lastslate for Windows
Lastslate now runs on Windows 10 and 11. It formats as you type, keeps drafts that never overwrite each other, and has an AI collaborator that reads your script but never writes a line of it. Writing in something else? Companion Mode works beside it.
Windows 10 and 11 · Free to write and export
Everything the Mac version does
Same app as the Mac version, released on the same day. It opens and exports Final Draft files, reads and writes Fountain, and turns PDF scripts into scenes you can edit.
A Final Draft alternative for Windows
Open the Final Draft file you already have, keep working, send it back with nothing lost. No Tab key: sluglines, cues and dialogue are recognised as you type. Pages break where Final Draft breaks them, so the PDF you send reads the way a producer or professor expects.
Your scripts never train AI
The AI collaborator reads your script, keeps track of your story, and gives notes. It never writes dialogue, and nothing you write is used to train AI. Your scripts stay on your PC. Cloud backup is off unless you turn it on, and encrypted when you do.
Already writing in something else?
Companion Mode is a small Lastslate window that sits next to whatever you write in. Open your script in it once and keep writing where you always do. Every time you save, Lastslate reads the new version and answers questions about it. It can’t change a word of what you wrote. Select a passage in your editor and press Ctrl+Shift+L to send it straight into the chat. See how Companion Mode works.
Installs cleanly, updates itself
The installer is signed with Microsoft, and the app updates on its own. Free to download and write. No account or card to start.
