How it works

  1. Download and sign in

    Lastslate is free to start. Make an account with the email you use for school or anything else.

  2. Verify your school email

    In Settings → Plan, choose Verify student status and enter your school email — a US .edu or your Canadian school address. We email you a confirmation link.

  3. Pick the student plan

    Click the link in your inbox, then choose the student plan at checkout. That's it — you're on the student rate.

Who qualifies

Current students at accredited US and Canadian institutions, verified with your school email — .edu in the US, your school's own domain in Canada. Verification renews once a year — we'll email a reminder before it lapses, and if you don't re-verify, your plan simply continues at the standard Pro price. One school email per account. Switching from Final Draft or another app? Your scripts import cleanly, no reformatting.
